What is the purpose of “Tree of Life”?
The purpose of “Tree of Life” is let people have everlasting life.
That means Adam and Eve need to eat fruit of tree of life within a specific period to extend their life and maintain body health, then their life could extend to forever.
On the other hand, if Adam and Eve no need to eat the tree of life but also have eternal life, then “Tree of Life” is meaningless, and God has no need to create it. So that means Adam and Eve would died if they don’t eat the Tree of Life, even they didn’t eat the fruit of Tree of knowledge of good and evil.
