“The coming” refers to the anointed one, a “prince“, Messiah Jesus.
“…an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince “who” is “to come” shall destroy the city and the sanctuary…” – Daniel 9:26
So “the coming” refers to a “prince” who is “to come”, that is to say “the coming” and the one “who is to come” is referring to the same one – a prince, an anointed one Jesus.
