Angel with a rainbow
During the 6th Trumpet Period the mounted troops period, an angel with a rainbow will occur, it seems some sealed message will be revealed. Why can we say that? Let’s see the Revelation chapter 10…
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head, and his face was like the sun, and his legs like pillars of fire.
2 He had a little scroll open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea, and his left foot on the land, 3 and called out with a loud voice, like a lion roaring. When he called out, the seven thunders sounded.
4 And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.” – Revelation 10:1-4
This angel looks like Jesus who has a rainbow over his head, his face is like the sun and his legs like pillars of fire. He got a little scroll, it seems this little scroll contains a great message for announcement. Why can we say that?
Because the angel called out with a loud voice like lion’s roaring, and also the 7 thunders were deafening. It seems something great will announce, but when John wanted to write it down, he heard a voice “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down”.
For John did not write down the message, therefore we couldn’t know that message. Although we don’t know the details of that message, but the angel told us what is it about. Let’s read it…
5 And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven 6 and swore by him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and what is in it, the earth and what is in it, and the sea and what is in it, that there would be no more delay, 7 but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets. – Revelation 10:5-7
What’s about the message? For the angel with rainbow standing on the sea and the land, and swore by our heavenly Father who created the earth and the sea, and saying “there would be no more delay(the End Day), 7 but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, “the mystery of God” would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets”.
What mystery? It’s about the “mystery of God”, about the mystery of heavenly Kingdom. For the 7th trumpet is sounded, this mystery will be fulfilled. For all 144000 God’s servants(saints) have sealed complete, so “there would be no more delay”, the establishment of Kingdom of God is finished, the End Day is come. This message is about God’s kingdom, about the earth, about the sea and the land.
Why the angel announced this message with loud voice and 7 thunders, but did not let John wrote it down to let us know? Why need to seal it?
8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying,
“Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
9 So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me,
“Take and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
10 And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it. It was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.
11 And I was told,
“You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.” – Revelation 10:8-11
The scroll was sealed by God, but God told John to take and eat the scroll, it seems apostle John knew and understood the message, he had been told “You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings”. So it seems apostle John(or a servant?)will reveal this message and prophesy about many peoples and nations and languages and kings. What does it mean?
It seems during the 6th trumpet period, this hidden message will be revealed. But apostle John had died a long time ago, how could John reveal this little scroll message to let us know? We have no idea, but maybe a “hidden scroll message” will be revealed or discovered during the 6th Trumpet period. Then this “hidden scroll message” “about many peoples and nations and languages and kings” will be revealed.
Why we say there is a “hidden scroll message” should be revealed? That’s very simple, because if God really want to hide this message, then He no need to mention it at all. But God used a whole chapter to describe it, so did he really want to hide it? If so, it would be meaningless of this chapter. Obviously, God wanted to hide it until the 6th Trumpet is sounded. We have no idea how God would reveal it or use what method, but surely we are faith in God. Amen.
