Bible Revelation message
The Revelation is most difficult and confused for Jesus followers. It seems no any relations or linkage with other books of Bible, and most of contents are symbolic that can’t understand what is it talking about. If God gives us Revelation to read, is it really no hints to let us understanding the Revelation?
We found that it is highly similar to the route of Israelites left Egypt to the Promised Land, is that God wants us to know the Revelation like that? It seems yes!! So before we read Revelation, let’s review how did Israelites left Egypt, and how does it similar to 7 seals of Revelation. You can see the following picture…
As you know, before Israelites left Egypt, they smeared blood of lamb on their doorposts, it symbolizes Jesus was killed as the symbol of Lamb, that’s why the Lamb is the significant role in Revelation. After that, angel led Moses(Prophet) and Israelites entering to the Promised Land. It happened like below…
Left Egypt – Six Seals
(1) – Angel saved Israelites left Egypt leading Moses and Israelites to enter the Promised Land.
(# 1st Seal) – Open the 1st Seal of Revelation, the white horse with crown “came out conquering, and to conquer”, the white horse(Jesus) would save God’s people and leading them to enter the “real” Promised Land – New Heaven and New Earth.
(2) – Wars were happening during the period of Israelites entering Promised Land.
(# 2nd Seal) – Open the 2nd Seal of Revelation, the red horse symbolizes wars, “to take peace from the earth”.
(3) – Suffering food shortage during the period of Israelites in the wilderness.
(#3rd Seal) – Open the 3rd Seal of Revelation, the black horse symbolizes famine, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”
(4) – Death occurred on Israelites during the wilderness period because of pestilence, snake, famine.
(#4th Seal) – Open the 4th Seal of Revelation, a pale horse called Death.
They[3 horses] will “to kill with sword[red horse] and with famine[black horse] and with pestilence[pale horse] and by wild beasts of the earth”.
(5) – After Israelites left Egypt, Jehovah God made covenant with them in the Mount Sinai, they would form the “Holy Nation” and the “Nation of Priests” in the Promised Land.
(#5th Seal) – Open the 5th Seal of Revelation, the souls under the altar were given a white robe and need to wait until the number of their brothers complete – the rest of heavenly Woman’s offspring(144000). They will form the Heavenly Israel the real “Holy Nation” and the real “Nation of Priests” in the New Heaven and New Earth.
(6) – Unfortunately when Israelites have to enter the Promised Land officially at that moment, 12 spies except 2(2 witnesses) reported a bad news. Israelites had seen and experienced the mighty of God but still lacked Faith in YHWH God, they refused entering the Promised Land.
It made God angry, so God also refused that generation to enter the Promised Land. They had to walk around, looping and looping in the wilderness until the 40 years was ended, entering the Promised Land was hold on or paused!
(# 6th Seal) – Open the 6th Seal of Revelation, the great day is come, sun become black, full moon become blood, star fall onto the earth. The kings, the generals… are hiding themselves, seems the End Day is to come!
But it’s like the Israelites, God’s people enter the New Heaven and New Earth is paused also, during that period the Day of Jesus is “coming” and “coming“. Same as Israelites looping in the wilderness 40 years period, there is also a similar period which is named “1260 days” “a time, times, and half a time” “42 months” in the Revelation. After that period, as you know kings, generals… would be killed in Armageddon.
The timeline of “symbolized wilderness period”
What is the actual timeline of this symbolic period?
(1) Beginning : The timeline of symbolic “wilderness period” and “7 Seals period” may compares with parable of the wheat and weeds growing period, Jesus said : “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man[Jesus] who sowed good seed [Saints] in his field [world](at 1st century)” – Matthew 13:24
The actual timeline of opening the Six Seals was in the 1st century, should be before AD 70.
(2) And then pass a “long unknown period“, referring to the wheat growing time of Matthew 13:25,30,
“25 but while his men(maybe 12 apostles) were sleeping [dead], his enemy [Devil] came and sowed weeds [sons of the evil one] among the wheat [Saints] and went away…
30 Let both grow together [pass a long period] until the harvest [the end of the age]…”
The same, from AD 70 till to open the 7th Seal would be a long “unknown period“, it’s like the wheat are growing with weeds period, and it passed about 2000 years now. The purpose of this period is let the wheat growing, it refers to sealing 144000 Saints. This period is also symbolized by “40 years wilderness of Israelites”.
“Wilderness Period”? Is this why God said the heavenly woman would staying in “wilderness” 1260 days? It seems yes. That’s why we say “40 years wilderness” is used to symbolise this “unknown period” – Sealing of 144000 Saints[growing].
The four horses are looping and looping, running and running during this sealing period “until” 144000 saints are sealed complete.
(3)The Ending : “39 …The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. 40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age… 43 Then the righteous[Saints] will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.” – Matthew 13:39-43
How to define the “harvest” timing? Isn’t it the crops are fully growth(ripe)?
So when the wheat is ripe(144000 Saints are sealed complete), then will be the end of the age [harvest]. The 7th Seal would be opened, the 4 destroy winds would be released, the climax of Great Tribulation would come, the old earth would be passed away.
The white horse rider Jesus would “conquering, and to conquer” during this period. Jesus the white horse rider [King of kings] would appear and to conquer with holy angels finally.
What is this symbolic period? This symbolic period is a “3.5” ; “7 churches period” ; “a time, times, and half a time” ; “1260 days” ; “42 months” period, they are the same period.
So the “40 years wilderness period” of Israelites actually symbolises those the same period with different meaning. What do they represent?
“1260 days” = sealing of 144000 saints period;
“a time, times, and half a time” = 7 churches witnessing period; 2(Witnesses) among of 7 Churches;
“42 months” = Jerusalem being trampled period, and the Beast make war on Saints;
“3.5” = The last half of One Seven of Daniel “Seventy Sevens”.
When sealing of 144000 saints all completed, the symbolised “40 years wilderness” period would be ended,
and “1260 days” ended;
2 witnesses[Churches] witnessing period ended;
“a time(2 Churches), times(4 Churches), half a time(the last Church)” ended;
“42 months” ended too.
What did Jesus say about this symbolic period? He used the term “this generation” of those days. Let’s see.
“This Generation”
Because that “generation” of Israelites lacked Faith in God and also done evils, so God
“made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the “generation” that had done evil in the sight of YHWH was gone.” – Numbers 32:13.
And that “generation” in the wilderness has a symbolic meaning, the “wilderness generation” is used to symbolise the generation of the End Day – from AD 70 till to the end of the Age. What did Jesus say about “this Generation“?
“O faithless and twisted “generation“, how long am I to be with you? How long am I to bear with you?” – Matthew 17:17
“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”… 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be… 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man… 34 Truly, I say to you, “this generation” will not pass away, until all these things take place. – Matthew 24:3-35
Jesus said “this generation” means “one generation” not “two generations”. The generation of Israelites in wilderness was gone after 40 years, and it is used to symbolise another “generation” that will be gone at the end of the Age.
“This Generation” that Jesus talking about is from AD70 till to the day Jesus back. Therefore “the End Day” means a “whole” period from AD70 till to Jesus comes, then “this generation” will be passed away. But there will be a Great Multitude(uncountable) would come out and enter into the “real” Promised Land, the “real” God’s Rest, New Heaven New Earth.
Is there really has a real “Promised Land” – the real “God’s Rest”?
The Real Promised Land – God’s Rest
“7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says, ” ‘Today‘, if you hear his voice,
8 do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness…
10 Therefore I was provoked with that generation… 11 …They shall not enter “my rest“…”
18 And to whom did he(God) swear that they would not enter “his rest“, but to those who were disobedient?” – Hebrews 3:7-18.
“1 Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest “still” stands(at 1st century),…
6 Since therefore it “remains” for some [Saints] to enter it,
and those(Israelites) who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,
7 again he appoints a “certain day“, “Today,” saying through David so long afterward…
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken of “another day later on“. 9 So then, there “remains” a Sabbath rest for the people of God…”. – Hebrews 4:1-9.
That is to say God arranged(remains) another “certain day“, the real Sabbath – the God’s Rest for His people. That is to say God prepares the real Promised Land – New Heaven New Earth for the Faithful people after the Great Tribulation.
Is that why Jehovah God said a prophet like Moses would raise up?
Raise up a Prophet like Moses
“ I will raise up for them a prophet like you(Moses) from among their brothers. And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.” – Deuteronomy 18:18
What is your first thought of Moses? Probably your first thought was he lead Israelites entered into the Promised Land. Yes that’s right, but actually Moses was not finish this job, why? Becaue the “Promised Land” that Israelites entered was not the real Promised Land of God – the God’s Rest. It is the shadow of the Heaven.
So God said He will raise up a prophet like Moses to finish God’s will, lead God’s people entering to the real Promised Land. That’s why apostle Paul(1st century) said there will be another “certain day” let God’s people to enter His Rest. But when will be this prophet appear? It seems the ending of “the Age”, the time for “restoring all the things“, because Acts 3:21,22 says,
“…until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago. 22 Moses said, ‘YHWH God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You shall listen to him in whatever he tells you.”
So there will be a prophet like Moses raise up to tell us God’s word at the ending of the Age. But how do we know who he is?
“…And I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. 19 And whoever will not listen to my words that he shall speak in my name, I myself will require it of him.
21 And if you say in your heart, ‘How may we know the word that YHWH has not spoken?’
22 when a prophet speaks in the name of YHWH, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that YHWH has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You need not be afraid of him. – Deuteronomy 18:18-19,21-22
So God says if this prophet saying come true will be a real prophet, we know not this prophet makes words come true but God. And God emphasizes that we have to listen to this prophet, and actually we are listening to the Holy Spirit, because words are come from Holy Spirit.
That’s why we say Israelites entering the Promised Land is let us understanding the Revelation. Let’s open the 7th Seal…
7th Seal
When all 144000 saints are sealed complete, that means “1260 days” is ended, then the 7th Seal will be opened!! When the 7th Seal is opened, 7 trumpets are given to 7 angels to blow. When the 7th trumpet is blown, 7 bowls are given to 7 angels who clothed as priests to pour out, and then the Babylon the great is fallen. The fall of Babylon the great will be the mark of God’s people have entered the New Heaven New Earth officially.
It was like 7 priests of Israelites blew trumpets 7 days and walked around Jericho, they blew trumpets once a day. In the 7th day, they walked and blew trumpets 7 times in that day, after that Jericho was fallen. The fallen of Jericho became the mark of Israelites officially entered the Promised Land.
Before Israelites blew trumpets, the commander of the YHWH’s army(Michael?) came to instruct Joshua and made Jericho fell. The same, “At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time”. – Daniel 12:1.
And Israelites 7 priests walked before “ark” when they blew trumpets, it’s like Revelation 11:15,19 “Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet… 19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the “ark” of his covenant was seen within his temple…”.
“the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened, and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests.” – Revelation 15:5,6.
Michael will come before angels blow trumpets, after 7 trumpets have blown Babylon the great will fall. “Then a mighty angel(Michael?) took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence…”” – Revelation 18:21.
Seven Trumpets
7 Trumpets have to blow when the 7th Seal is opened. It will be a great loud voice let people can “see” and hear. Can you hear the loud voice of trumpets? Can you see what is happening now?
1st Trumpet : a third of earth, a third of trees and all grass are burned.
2nd Trumpet : a third of sea living creatures death.
3rd Trumpet : a third of river become wormwood.
4th Trumpet : a third of sun, moon, stars are stuck become darken.
When the above 4 Trumpets have blown, that means the Great Tribulation is come. Can you see that it is happening now? The Great Tribulation will reach “climax” when the other 3 Trumpets are being blown, for angel cry loudly “woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth”.
5th Trumpet : When the 5th Trumpet is blown, the symbolized locusts(COVID19?) will come out of bottomless pit, they will harm people and make them willing to die, but death flee from them. After the symbolized 6 months period, the 5th woe will pass away.
1. When 6th Trumpet is blown, twice ten thousand times ten thousand of mounted troops will occur, it symbolic huge amount of volcano eruption will happen around the earth. A third of mankind will be killed.
2. And during the 6th Trumpet period, the rainbow angel will open the little scroll and the mystery of God – the mystery of Kingdom of God will be revealed.
3. Angel told John to measure and count temple and those(144000) worship there, to make sure no one is missed. Also 2 Witnesses(2 Lampstands) of 7 Churches witnessing period will be ended. 7 Churches witnessing period – “a time, times, and half a time” will be ended, they will go to heaven to become the Kingdom of God. Therefore no need Churches(Lampstands) on earth anymore, for they have finished their mission, YHWH God and the Lamb will be the light of all nations.
The 7th Trumpet
The 7th Day : Israelites’ Priests walked around Jericho and blew trumpets 7 times, after that Jericho was fallen.
The 7th Trumpet : After the 6th woe pass away, next will be the 7th trumpet has to blow. When the 7th Trumpet is blown, 144000 saints are completed and well prepared as the first fruits given to Lamb and God, they come from every nation people language and tribe(Rev. 5:9). They stand on Zion with Jesus and will be the King and Priest of Kingdom of God.
Now God make judgement on Babylon the Great and the Beast. 7 Bowls have to pour out…
7 Bowls
1st Bowl : pour to the people(countries) have 666 mark.
2nd Bowl : pour to the sea, all living thing have died.
3rd Bowl : pour to rivers, water springs.
4th Bowl : pour to sun to scorch people with fire.
5th Bowl : pour to Beast throne, the Beast is pained and sores.
6th Bowl : pour to river Euphrates, its water is dried up. Three unclean spirits to assemble all kings for battle (Armageddon) on the great day of God the Almighty. King of kings will come soon.
7th Bowl :pour to the air, the great city Babylon is fallen and split into 3 parts, “it is done“.
Babylon the Great and 7 headed Beast with ten horns
Angel explained who is Babylon the Great and ten horns and 7 heads Beast to apostle John, but it is the mystery and only reveal it at the End Day. It seems this is our day, the ten horns and the Beast 666 will destroy and burn up Babylon the great during the7 Bowls period.
King of kings and Reign a thousand years
After Babylon the Great has destroyed, the Heaven is great rejoiced, Praise YHWH God Hallelujah!!
Jesus King of kings will come down from heaven with angels, the Beast and the false prophet will throw alive into the Lake of Fire, the rest kings(countries) will slain by Jesus’ sword(God’s word), all birds(angels) will be gorged(glad and satisfied).
After the Beast is killed, the red Dragon will be captured and throw into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. 144000 saints include the beheaded for testimony of Jesus, those not worship the Beast are come to life, the first resurrection is done. They will reign with Christ 1000 years and the Thousand Years Reign is officially started.
When a thousand years are ended, Devil Satan will be released from bottomless pit to deceive nations Gog and Magog, and they will “surround the camp of saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them”. Finally Devil Satan will throw into the Lake of Fire too.
New Heaven New Earth – Real Promised Land
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away”. “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God”. How bright and glory of this golden city! The New Jerusalem will be the Kingdom of God – come down from heaven to make God’s will done on earth and hallow God’s name.
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
YHWH God’s light will shine the nations and the Lamb is the lamp. King of nations will bring their nations’ glory to New Jerusalem give it to God and Lamb. The Tree of Life and water of life from New Jerusalem will be given and healing all nations, no cursed anymore. “I will bless those who bless you… and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed”, it will be fulfilled in the real Promised Land.
It is done! “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end”. “And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price”. “I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
Prayer
Jehovah God our heavenly Father, you are Holy, Holy and Holy, the God Almighty, who was and is and is to come! Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive the Glory and Honor and Power, for you created all things, and because of your will they are existed and were created. We give thanks to you, Jehovah God Almighty, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign. All nations have to worship you. Amen.
Please Jesus Christ lead us passing through the Great Tribulation and enter God’s rest-the Real Promised Land, just same as you leading Moses and Israelites entering the Promised Land before. But this time don’t leave us, please we need you and Jesus guiding us, for the Great Tribulation is never happen before, it is a terrible time for the whole world. Please Jehovah God, Lord Jesus stand with us this time, guiding us to enter “your rest” – the New Heaven New Earth.
Amen.
May all nations give Glory, Honor, Power and Thankful to you and Jesus Christ. Amen. May Jesus let us understanding the Revelation and may Jesus come! Amen.
