Why is the Church not mentioned after Revelation chapter 3?
To whom (object) is the message of the Book of Revelation addressed?
Yes, Jesus said the message was given to the Seven Stars, and the 7 Stars were told to give to “Seven Churches” only. So that means the message of Revelation is for all 7 Churches’ brothers only.
“Write therefore the things (signs of the Revelation) that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this.” – Revelation 1:19
“saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.” – Revelation 1:11
So from chapter 4 to 22 are “the things… that are and those that are to take place.”, all of them are referring to 7 Churches’ brothers. Such as the terms are mentioned like “servants”, “7 Churches”, “conquers”, “the slain souls”, “saints”, “apostles”, “7 Stars”, “prophets”, “the 144000”, “24 elders”, “the new bride”, “the new Jerusalem”, “partner”, “your brothers“.
Therefore although the term “Church” is not mentioned again after Revelation chapter 3, but all message is for the 7 Churches’ brothers and related to them.
But if the Revelation is for 7 Churches’ brothers only, how come all 7 Churches are not existing now?
Also Jesus said to Church Philadelphia “I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.”, if Church Philadelphia is not existed how could it be keeping protected?
Jesus said to Church Laodicea, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”. If Church Laodicea is not existed, how could Jesus knock its’ door, how could Laodicea’s brother open its’ door and let Jesus come in?
So it proves that 7 Churches are the “symbolic 7 Churches Age” of the whole world from 1st century till to the end of the Age, to Jesus come back. It must be the symbolic period, otherwise you cannot explain why Jesus was saying like this the above.
