How long are “those days” that Jesus mentioned in Matthew chapter 24?
“15 So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)… 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! ” – Matthew 24:15,19
“29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its ligh.. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man…” – Matthew 24:29,30

So how long of “those days” in Matthew chapter 24?
(1) “Those days” begins in AD 70 officially.
“15 So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand “AD 70 earthly Jerusalem destroyed“)… 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! ” – Matthew 24:15,19
(2) “Those days” period: It is a long long unknown timing and passed about 2000 years now. This unknown time period is the “Jerusalem being trampled underfoot by the Gentiles”, until ‘the times of the Gentiles [42 months, “3.5”] are fulfilled‘.
(3) “Those days” ending: Immediately after the tribulation of “those days” is ended, Jesus would come and appear. “the sun will be darkened… 26 And then they will see the Son of Man (Jesus)…”. Jesus used the term “the end of the Age” to describe the ending of “those days“.
Have you seen what the “those days” meaning? Jesus used the term “those days” to define the “entire period” of the End Day, from the AD 70 the earthly Jerusalem destroyed till to Jesus come back!
Therefore, “those days” the End Day must “not” be the real literal 7 years or 3.5 years, but means the last symbolic timing “3.5” of “One Seven“. That’s why “The End Day” has passed about 2000 years till to now. But why is so long? For what purpose?
There is “only one purpose” for this 2000 years long timing, that is:
- To produce or make talents of Kingdom
- proclaiming gospel of the Kingdom
- sealing of 144,000 saints
- the wheat the sons of Kingdom growing
- the heavenly woman bearing her other offspring
- makes the Bride ready (the Lamb’s wife)
- Adopt God’s sons.
All the above terms are used interchangeably for the same and one goal: Preparing or sealing the 144,000 holy people of New Jerusalem.
