15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind.
16 The number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number.

Sounds the sixth Trumpet means the climax of the Great Tribulation is come which has “prepared” for the hour, the day, the month and the year, to kill a third of mankind by “twice ten thousand times ten thousand Mounted Troops”.
Mounted Troops symbolic Volcanic Eruptions, “twice ten thousand times ten thousand mounted troops” means a huge volume volcanic eruptions.
So maybe it seems the 4 angels holding the “twice ten thousand times ten thousand mounted troops” will release at specific “hour” at once to kill a third of mankind. You can imagine that it would be really the climax of the Great Tribulation of human!
“prepared” really means 4 angels well prepared to release “twice ten thousand times ten thousand” volanic eruptions, how could we know it will happen soon? You can imagine before release eruptions, there shall be more and more earthquakes, also higer and higer earthquake magnitude, untill at a specific time point(“prepared” for the hour, the day, the month and the year) and release “twice ten thousand times ten thousand” volanic eruptions at once.
