Does the 1st Seal(the white horse rider) of Revelation mean “Christ” or “Anti-Christ”?
1 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Come!”
2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him,
and he came out conquering, and to conquer.

The white horse rider has a bow and a crown. Who is the rider? He is Jesus Christ.
But someone says the rider is “Anti-Christ”, is that true? We are 100% surely of the rider represents “Jesus Christ”. Why?
If you fully read the Revelation, you will know he must be Jesus. Let’s see and study word by word…
“White” color :
The horse is “White” color – someone says : “the white horse represents anitchrist. White color is peace, but actually it is the false peace that made by antichrist.”
But the Revelation tells us white color means “righteous” not peace, like…
– “The hairs of his head were white… like snow”-(Rev.1:14).
– “Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in “white“, for they are worthy.” – Revelation 3:4
– “they were each given a white robe…”-(Rev. 6:11) ;
– “a Great Multitude… clothed in white robes…” -(Rev. 7:9) ;
– “…They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” – (become righteous) (Rev. 7:14).
– “…clothe herself with fine linen(white color), bright and pure”—for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. -(Rev. 19:8) ;
– “Then I saw… a white horse! The one (Jesus) sitting on it is… in righteousness he judges and makes war.”-(Rev. 19:11);
– “Then I saw a great white throne…”-(Rev. 20:11).
You see? All verses above are “white color” in Revelation, and white color means righteousness, white = righteous, it means you won’t see a black dot(sin). Also all colors are perfectly represent what they are symbolised, like red = wars, black = famines, pale = death.
However, how about “white” = “peace”? If white = peace, it will be conflict with explanation of “antichrist”, for antichrist won’t bring the real peace. That’s why people give another interpretation about this “white” which means false peace. But if white ≠ peace would be illogical, it is strange for saying a color ≠ “xxx”, why?
Because it could “not equal to” a, or b, or c, …., unlimited answers ….. depends on what you say. But a color “=” xxx would given the only answer. Therefore, if “1st horse” really means antichrist, why not God directly specific “a color” to represent antichrist? Same as the other 3 horses’ colors representing its’ identity, and there are many colors could be used…
The most important is this interpretation logic violates the Truth God’s principles.
Jesus said, “Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.” – Matthew 5:37
This is God and Jesus’ principles, simply say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, no more addtional defination. It’s like the interpretation about ‘White’ isn’t white, but actually is false peace ; Saying “Conquering, and to conquer”, but actually would be defeated; Saying to Eve, “You will not surely die” but died, surely it’s not from God.
That’s why we are sure Bible says it is “white” is white, “conquering and to conquer” would be really conquer till to the end. Saying “in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”, and died.
Moreover, we see that all symbols that God used in Revelation are perfectly be its’ representative, consistency and corrdination like “Red Dragon” “Lamb”, also you won’t see a same symbol but has 2 different meanings, that’s why we say “White Horse Rider” must symbolizes the righteous Jesus Christ.
“Bow” :
Bow and a crown are given to the rider, what does it mean? Maybe bow means “war”, it means Jesus make the righteous war.
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse(again)! The one(Jesus) sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war.” – Revelation 19:11
Listen to me in silence… Who stirred up one from the east whom victory meets at every step(conquer)? He gives up nations before him, so that he tramples kings underfoot; he makes them like dust with his sword(God’s word), like driven stubble with his “bow” (shot “air”?).
“Behold my servant(Jesus), whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations…
I am YHWH; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations.” – Isaiah 42:1-6
Someone may say why does the white horse rider has a bow but no arrows? It seems he has no weapon. How could he make war? How could he conquer? He shot an “air” arrow? This war seems not same as the Red Horse to kill people, does it mean the rider shotting “air” arrow with no destroy?
” 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.(it’s about spiritual war) 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.(conquer)” – 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
“Bow” means war, it means Jesus make the righteous war. It is a spiritual war not the flesh war, take every thought captive to obey Christ, his weapon is the sword[God’s word], Jesus would conquering and to conquer, everyone have to bow and obey Jesus.
“Crown” :
“Crown” symbolic king authority, there are only 4 kinds people have crown in Revelation. They are
– Saints (Rev. 3:11) ;
– 24 Elders (Rev. 4:4) ;
– Heavenly woman (Rev. 12:1) ;
– Jesus – son of man (Rev. 14:14).
All of them are righteous having royal king authority of God’s Kingdom. So a crown given to the white horse rider means the rider must be the one of 4. Obviously “false christ”-(antichrist) won’t get the “crown” – king of God’s kingdom.
“Conquer” :
Moreover, just before the lamb( Jesus) open the 7 Seals, what does Revelation descript the lamb? Yes “conquer”, “…the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has “conquered”, so that he can open the scroll…”(Rev. 5:5). So whom does Revelation 6:2 talking “conquer”? The same, only a few in Revelation use “conquer” descripting them. They are…
– “Saints” – 7 Churches(Rev. 3:5,21),
– “the beast” – conquer 2 witnesses-saints(Rev. 11:7, 13:7),
– “Jesus” – the lamb, the white horse- the final conquer(Rev. 17:14, 19:11,16)
No individual saying them “conquer” except the above verses in Revelation. Although the Beast once conquered Saints, but the Saints will get the final conquer, because Jesus – the lamb, King of kings is conquering, conquering, conquering…(conquer 7 times for 7 Churches), and to conquer finally(Rev. 19:11,16). All symbols of “White”, “Bow”, “Crown”, “Conquer” are related to the righteous, it proves that the white horse rider of first Seal is Lord Jesus.
Then why would people think the white horse represents antichrist? Maybe they are reading and comparing Matthew chapter 24 and Luke chapter 21, for Jesus says his coming will occur false christ(antichrist), wars, famines, pestilences… That’s why they got the signal of white horse represents antichrist.
Yes, Jesus has mentioned the “False Christ” would appear at the End Day, however it seems the False Christ not perfectly match to the white horse representative, but Jesus Christ. And the other 3 horses[red, black, pale] are exactly match what Jesus said in Matthew, Mark and Luke, how about the white horse, which verse is directly talking to it? Actually we can say all signs Jesus saying are following the “Come” of the “white horse”, why we can say that?
“Come!” :
What is the question of apostles asked? They asked “…what will be the sign of “your coming” …? “, so we say all signs[3 horses] are following the white horse coming; The red horse =Wars, the Black Horse = Famines , the Pale Horse = Death. The white horse rider(Jesus) is come, conquering, and to conquer finally!

for the salvation of your anointed(sealed Saints).

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I[Jesus] have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” – 1 John 5:4
– To the one[Ephesus] who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
– The one[Smyrna] who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.
– To the one[Pergamum] who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name…
– The one[Thyatira] who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
– The one[Sardis] who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments.
– The one[Philadelphia] who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God.
– The one[Laodicea] who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I(Jesus) also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
The white horse not only the 1st horse but also the “First Seal”. You can imagine how important it is, because only the 1st horse announces loudly like thunder “Come!”, this shows us its’ importance. The white horse rider appears in the first Seal and the last Seal, maybe that’s why Jesus said “I am the first and the last”, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. That’s why apostle John says at the end of Revelation, “Come, Lord Jesus!”.
“4 horses” :
God used 4 running Horses to be the signs when opened the 4 Seals of Revelation, that means they are the same group for horses are running[happening],… and running. Same group not means all of them are disasters, as you see the symbol of white horse does not match “a disaster“, but all of them are running[occurring] and running, looping again… and again.
Although the 4 Seals are horses, but seems Apostle John known the white horse does not belong to the other 3 horses, that’s why he said “And they[3 horses] were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword[red horse] and with famine[black horse] and with pestilence and by wild beasts[pale horse] of the earth.” – Revelation 6:8. No white horse has descripted of apostle John.
Just like the rider[Jesus] of White Horse conquering [again and again]…, and to conquer. The other three Horses are also running, [again and again]…, and running. So from AD 70, Jesus are conquering and to conquer, and also wars, famines, pestilence, earthquake and death… would happen again, again…, and again, until the end of the age.
We disclose all verses fully and detailly because we are sure that the white horse rider is Lord Jesus not the False Christ or AntiChrist. We don’t want Christians misunderstanding and saying Lord Jesus is “False Christ”, that’s why we show off all evidences to prove that the righteous Jesus is the white horse rider(Revelation 6:2). May we give Praise, Honor, Glory and Thankful to Lord Jesus, for he is the King of kings, Lord of lords the righteous riding the white horse conquering, conquering, conquering… and to conquer at the end. Amen. “Come, Lord Jesus!”.
“False Prophet” or “False Christ” :
Then who is the “False Christ” or “Anti-Chrit”? Does Bible tell us? What symbol is used to represent it?
Yes, God used a perfect match symbol to represent it. What is it? It is the Beast-the 8th Beast(666), it has 2 horns looks like the Lamb[False Christ], it rise from the bottomless pit who is healed its’ mortal wound.
“And at the latter end of their kingdom, when the transgressors have reached their limit, a king of bold face, one who understands riddles, shall arise(Beast – False Prophet). 24 His power shall be great—but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints. 25 By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his hand, and in his own mind he shall become great. Without warning he shall destroy many. And he[Anti-Christ] shall even rise up against the Prince of princes[Jesus], and he shall be broken—but by no human hand.” -Daniel 8:23-25
” 11 Then I saw another beast rising out of the earth. It[the Beast 666] had two horns like a lamb and it spoke like a dragon. 13 It performs great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in front of people, 14 and by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the [7 headed] beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived.15 …and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. 16 Also it causes all… to be marked[666] on the right hand or the forehead, ” – Revelation 13:11,13-16
” Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one[Jesus-Prince of princes] sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. 19 And I saw the beast[Anti-Christ] and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army[Anti-Christ].” – Revelation 19:11,19
“And the [7 headed] beast was captured, and with it the false prophet[the beast 666] who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark[666] of the beast and those who worshiped its image. ” – Revelation 19:20
Have you seen the symbol of “False Prophet” or “Anti-Christ” or “False Christ” that God used is a perfectly match its’ representative?
Like the “Anti-Christ” who rise up against the Prince of princes[Jesus], the beast[Anti-Christ] and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him[Jesus].
The symbol of “False Christ” is used a “Beast has 2 horns” looks like a lamb, this Beast gave people the illusion that he was the Christ, but actually he is a “False Christ” who spoke like a dragon.
“False Prophet“: the 8th Beast rise from bottomless pit deceive people to worship the 7 headed Beast, force all to receive its’ mark 666, it would be captured by the righteous White Horse rider Jesus, “False Prophet” and the 7 headed Beast would thrown alive into the lake of fire.
So it seems “Anti-Christ” “False Christ” and “False Prophet” is the same Beast. You would see the symbol of God using is perfectly match its’ nature representative, a Beast has 2 horns like a lamb, spoke like a dragon, against Prince of princes Jesus, deceive those who dwell on earth…
So “Anti-Christ” is the symbol of the 8th Beast 666, not the symbol of the righteous white horse, otherwise will there a war of 2 white horses fighting each other finally? Who will be the conquer, for Bible says 2 white horses would conquer. So the answer is only one, the white horse rider is Jesus, please do not misunderstanding it. May we all give Honor, Praise, Surrender and Thankful to the White Horse Rider – the Righteous Jesus Christ, King of kings.
