How to understand Daniel 9:26,27?
26 And after the sixty-two weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end(Seventy Sevens’ end) shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed.
27 And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

It seems these 2 verses express three parallel meanings, using different words to convey the same objects. These includes 3 parts :
(1) Anointed One – Jesus, (2) The destruction of Jerusalem and the Sanctuary, (3) The ending of the Desolator and Seventy Sevens.
(Verse 26) And after the sixty-two Sevens,
(1) Anointed One – Jesus.
– He(Jesus) shall make a strong covenant with many(Jesus’ apostles and disciples) for one week. -verse 27
– An anointed one(Jesus) shall be cut off and shall have nothing. [AD33 Jesus died and resurrected back to heaven] -verse 26
(2) The destruction of Jerusalem and the Sanctuary, the prince – Jesus put an end to sacrifice.
– “The people of the Prince [Jesus] who is to come*” shall destroy the [Jerusalem] city and the sanctuary. (AD 70) -verse 26
– For half of the week he (Jesus) shall ‘put an end’ to sacrifice and offering. (AD 70) -verse 27
* “is to come” describing Jesus’s coming. [will come again at the end]
(3) The ending of the Desolator and Seventy Sevens.
– On the wing of abominations shall come one [Rome-the 4th Beast] who makes desolate (from AD70 and will last ‘3.5’ symbolic period), until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator. (until the 5th bowl of Revelation is poured out on Beast’s throne) -verse 27
– Its end (Seventy Sevens’ end) shall come with a flood, and to the end there shall be war. Desolations are decreed (The end of the desolator). -verse 26
